ClubMX Race Report 6-20-2011

June 20 2011

With Loretta Lynns right around the corner, ClubMX riders have been traveling all over the country for qualifiers to the "big show". This past weekend at High Point Raceway in Mt. Morris, PA ClubMX riders Jake Streichert, Mike Evenson and Worth Hunter went to battle. Jake had a very good weekend showing his skill and determination in every moto. Jake qualified 2nd overall in the 450B stock class and had some really good moto's in the 250B Mod finishing 8th overall and also some great racing in his 450B Mod class finishing 10th. Mike Evenson finished 8th overall in the Junior +25 class. Worth Hunter had some bad luck in the muddy conditions, suffering from bad starts which ended his Loretta Lynn's run for 2011. Worth is picking his head back up, more motivated then every to keep charging and will continue his training throughout the summer. Jesse Wentland and Bryce Gray were banging bars at Cathy's Creek MX in Forest City, NC. Jesse killed the competition in all of his moto's taking home 1st place in 250A and the 450A classes. Bryce Gray had a great ride taking home 3rd place in the 250C class. Across seas at round #7 of the FIM World Motocross Championships, Zach Osborne made his way to LaBeneza (GP of Spain). Zach had mechanical failures in his first moto causing him to a dnf. In the second moto Zach rode a great race finishing 6th for a 13th overall. Still keeping Zach in the top 5 in the championship points race. Good job to all the ClubMX riders this past weekend!!
